Introduction

True health is so much more than the lack of disease, it is allowing the full potential of your body, mind, and spirit to shine and radiate through your entire being. Chinese medicine is the perfect vehicle for aiding this process as its ability to diagnose underlying patterns of imbalance before they manifest into symptoms allows real preventative medicine to take place.
In five years of graduate school at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Science I studied a broad range of course work taught by an amazing group of teachers. My major interests were orthopedics, pain management, psychology, nutrition, Asian therapeutic bodywork (TuiNa, Amma and Chi Nei Tsang), and acupuncture (Japanese, orthopedic, auricular, scalp).
My work at Quan Yin Healing Arts center working with substance abuse and severe terminal illness as well as assisting Dr. Li, LAc and Dr. Jane Bick Tang, LAc in their private practice gave me a wide range of experience in the field of Chinese Medicine.
I hold a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese medicine, as well as Baccalaureate degrees in both Psychology and Art. I am a licensed Amma Practitioner (traditional Japanese massage), Chi Nei Tsang Practitioner (Abdominal massage) and Reiki Master. I have studied with and worked for Service Through Touch an organization affiliated with hospice to provide in home care to the sick and dying. I am an instructor through the Universal Healing Tao founded by Master Mantak Chia specializing in Chi Kung and Meditation.
